Favorite Places to Shop on a Budget

Anyone who says that retail therapy doesn’t work…well, I think we’ll have to agree to disagree on that one. Obviously, it’s not going to solve any REAL problems, so don’t go too crazy. But if you’re having a bad day it might make you feel a little better. Although buying some new stuff can brighten my day, it doesn’t make me feel too great about my bank account. Don’t worry, you don’t have to put your credit cards down quite yet. It’s all about finding the right places to shop where you can get the most bang for your buck.

One of my favorite places to shop online is SheIn. It is an awesome, affordable website (I’m talkin’ REAL cheap) that is perfect for getting trendy outfits for a low price. Trends are constantly changing and some of them can be a little out of your comfort zone. With that being said, I recommend not splurging on these items. Clothing here can be hit-or-miss and sometimes an item might be too good to be true for the price. I’ve learned the hard way to ONLY buy items that have good reviews. No review = on to the next.

Another tip for shopping on this website is to choose the fastest shipping option. When I’ve ordered here, I chose express shipping, which should take 2-3 business days. The real waiting time, took almost two weeks. However, one of my friends ordered from there too with the same shipping method and it arrived on time. So, maybe I just haven’t been lucky (or she has been!) I purchased this two-piece set for only $21 (now only $13!), and it is one of my favorites!

I’ve worn this set to a luau while vacationing in Maui, which was perfect for the occasion. I’ve also worn just the top paired with a black mini-skirt and heels to the bars! I love the versatility and how it can be worn as a set but also matches well with other pieces.

I discovered Boohoo through a YouTube vlogger’s video once (unfortunately I can’t remember who it was), but didn’t buy anything until a few months ago. There are two main things that I absolutely love about this store.

First, is the petite section. I’m only 5’1, so when I found out they had an entire section dedicated to petite women, I was THRILLED. If you’re vertically challenged like me, you probably know the struggle in finding clothes that actually fit properly in the length department. So for all the babes that are under 5’3, I think you may have found a new place to shop. *wink*

My second favorite thing I love about this store is their shoes! The first time I was browsing their website, I saw a pair of cleated peeptoe lace-up sandals on their site. I knew I had to have them AND they were only $22!

In my most recent purchase from Boohoo, I also got a pair of chunky over-the-knee boots for only $28.

I’ve been shopping at Tobi since I first starting online shopping in high school. Compared to SheIn and Boohoo, Tobi can be a bit pricey, but they have good deals going on pretty often. Plus, if you’ve never purchased anything from their site before, you get 50% off your first order! If you’re looking for something casual, they have super comfy and cute sweaters that are perfect for the fall. The Wing It Blue Multi Sweater is one of my favorite sweaters that I own and it was only $10! Unfortunately, it’s sold out now, but they have TONS of other options, so you’ll definitely find something you love too!

Tobi also has amazing dresses that are perfect for special occasions or if you’re going out clubbing with your girls. If you’re in need of a new LBD, try checking out the Halter At Me Bodycon Dress for only $19.

Everything that I have received from Tobi has been great quality, especially when you factor in the price. All of my packages have arrived pretty quickly too. The only downside of shopping here is there aren’t any reviews, but it isn’t too concerning because I’ve never received anything I didn’t like.

I hope you liked my recommendations for shopping on a budget! If you’ve shopped at any of these stores or have recommendations for others that don’t break the bank, I would love to hear about them! Let me know in the comments!
